DJI Power 1000 V2 Portable Power Station, 1024Wh LFP Battery, 2600W Stable Output
A 1024 Wh power station for camping, RV trips or keeping a fridge and router running through an outage.
$399.98Shop on AmazonPrice as ofThe DJI Power 1000 V2 holds 1024 Wh in LFP (lithium iron phosphate) cells, which DJI rates at over 80 percent capacity after 4,000 full cycles. The US model has four AC outlets with 2600 W of steady output, plus two USB-C ports at up to 140 W each, two USB-A ports and DJI's SDC ports for fast-charging its drones.
It suits anyone who wants backup power for a home office or a weekend of car camping without a gas generator. DJI rates it at 26 dB, quiet enough for a tent or a bedroom. If you only need to charge phones and a laptop, a much smaller power bank does that job.
Worth knowing It weighs about 14.2 kg (31 lb), so it is a two-handed carry, not something for a backpack. The 140 W USB-C speed needs a laptop and cable that support USB PD 3.1.

A 1200 W single-serve blender with a pulse cycle and two cups, for daily smoothies and small batches of salsa.
$79.99Shop on AmazonPrice as ofThe nutribullet Pro+ (N12-1001) has a 1200 W motor, about double the original nutribullet, on the same small footprint. It adds a pre-set pulse cycle for chunkier textures like salsa, and stops on its own after about 60 seconds. In the box: the motor base, an extractor blade, a 24 oz Tall Cup, a 32 oz Colossal Cup, two to-go lids and a recipe book.
It suits one or two people who blend in the cup they drink from. The cups go on the dishwasher's top rack. Anyone who makes soup or batches for a family is better off with a full-size jug blender.
Worth knowing The blade has to be rinsed by hand, and there is no jug or heating, only the two cups.

A cordless 40V blower that also vacuums and mulches leaves, sold with a 5.0 Ah battery and charger.
$149.99Shop on AmazonPrice as ofGreenworks' 40V blower/vacuum (model BL40L511) moves 505 CFM at up to 230 MPH, with a variable speed dial, a turbo button and cruise control to hold a set speed. Switched to vacuum mode, it picks up leaves and mulches them at a 12:1 ratio. The kit has the tool, one 5.0 Ah battery and a charger, and that battery fits Greenworks' other 40V tools.
It suits a suburban yard, a driveway and a patio where a gas blower feels like more noise and upkeep than the job needs. Owners of large wooded lots will want a backpack blower instead.
Worth knowing The tool weighs about 9.9 lb before the battery goes in, and a flat battery takes about 150 minutes to recharge. The battery only fits Greenworks' 40V line.

Klein Tools GFCI Receptacle Outlet Tester w/ LCD
A plug-in outlet tester with a screen, for checking wiring and GFCI outlets before or after a small electrical job.
$16.00Shop on AmazonLowest price we've postedPrice as ofKlein's RT250 plugs into a standard three-prong outlet and shows the voltage and the wiring fault, if there is one, on a backlit screen, alongside green and red lights. On a GFCI outlet, its test button trips the outlet and the screen shows how long the trip took. It also detects an open neutral combined with an open ground, and Auto-Hold keeps the reading on screen for outlets behind furniture.
It suits homeowners swapping outlets, people checking an older house before moving in, and anyone who wants to know a GFCI actually trips.
Worth knowing It works only on North American 120V three-wire outlets and does not test AFCI breakers (Klein's RT310 does). It takes two AAA batteries, which come in the box.

771-Pc LEGO Botanical Collection Succulents Building Set
A 771-piece LEGO set of nine succulents for adults, a desk or shelf display that never needs watering.
$33.00Shop on AmazonPrice as ofLEGO's Succulents (10309) is part of its Botanical Collection for adults. The nine small plants connect together, so they can be shown as one block, in small groups or spread around a room. The 771 pieces come with three separate instruction books, so two or three people can build at once and combine them at the end.
It suits adult builders, someone who likes plants but not the upkeep, and a gift for a new desk or apartment. Someone after a single large statement build would prefer one of the bigger flower sets.
Worth knowing LEGO rates it 18+, so it is a set for adults rather than a children's toy. Each plant is small; together they make a modest desk display, not a centerpiece.
