It has a 21-inch steel deck, Honda's MicroCut twin blades, and a Clip Director switch that moves between mulching, bagging and rear discharge without swapping parts. Drive is rear-wheel and variable from a standstill up to 3.8 mph, and there are seven cutting heights from 1 to 4 inches.
It comes with an 8 Ah battery and a 2 A charger. Honda rates that battery at up to 30 minutes of mowing, which suits a lawn of around a quarter acre. Larger lots are better served by the optional 12 Ah battery, which Honda rates at up to 45 minutes, or by a gas mower.
Worth knowing The included charger takes about 4.5 hours for a full charge. Honda's 8 A quick charger cuts that to about an hour, but it is sold separately, as is the larger battery.

The filter is a washable HEPA type that DEWALT says traps 99.97 percent of dust down to 0.3 microns, and you can tap it clean or rinse it.
It makes most sense as an add-on for people already on the DEWALT 20V MAX platform. For whole-floor cleaning in a house, a stick vacuum is the better fit; this is for spills, sawdust and quick jobs.
Worth knowing This is the bare tool: no battery and no charger in the box. Without a DEWALT 20V MAX pack it will not run.

Worth knowing The battery figures JBL quotes are with noise cancelling off, so expect less with it on. The touchscreen case is bigger than a plain earbud case.
