Ring Battery Doorbell 2K (Upgrade Model)

The Battery Doorbell 2K records square 1920x1920 video with a 140 by 140 degree view, so the frame runs from a visitor's face down to a parcel on the mat. It runs on a built-in rechargeable battery, and if you do have doorbell wiring (8-24VAC) it can trickle-charge from that instead. Two-way talk and up to 6x digital zoom are included.

The Battery Doorbell 2K Plus is the step up: Ring lists a quick-release battery pack for it, which you can swap without taking the doorbell off the wall. If you would rather never think about charging, a wired Ring is the simpler choice.

Worth knowing The battery is built in, so charging means taking the whole doorbell off its mount with the included tool. Saving, reviewing and sharing recorded video needs a paid Ring Protect plan.
