The G305 uses Logitech's HERO sensor (200 to 12,000 DPI) and its LIGHTSPEED wireless receiver, the same connection the company uses on its more expensive mice. Logitech lists about 250 hours of use from a single AA battery, so there is nothing to charge.
It suits players and office users who want a small, simple wireless mouse that also works for games. People who want a rechargeable mouse, extra side buttons or RGB lighting should look further up Logitech's range.
Worth knowing It runs on AA batteries, not a built-in rechargeable cell, and it connects through its USB receiver, so it needs a free USB-A port.
