One of our picks for Monday, October 12, 2026. We haven't tested it. How we pick
The Bar 500MK2 is a two-box system: a 37-inch soundbar and a separate 10-inch wireless subwoofer, rated by JBL at 750 watts in total. It handles Dolby Atmos and DTS Virtual:X and uses JBL's MultiBeam 3.0 for a wider soundstage. There is one HDMI input and one HDMI eARC output with Dolby Vision and HDR10+ pass-through, plus optical, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The JBL One app handles streaming services and EQ.
It suits a living room where the TV's own speakers sound thin and there is floor space for a subwoofer. An HDMI cable and wall brackets for the bar are in the box.
Worth knowing The box has no separate rear speakers, so surround effects come from the bar itself. The subwoofer is about 13 inches square and 16 inches tall, and needs its own power outlet.
As described when the deal was posted. We haven't tested it, and the Amazon page has the full, current details.
