The ratchet is the point of this set. Wera's Zyklop Speed has a 72-tooth mechanism that needs only 5 degrees of handle swing per click, a head that pivots and locks at 0, 15 and 90 degrees either way, and a thumbwheel to switch direction. Wera says it does the work of six tools, from flex-head ratchet to screwdriver.

In the textile case: nine metric sockets from 8 to 19 mm, a 200 mm extension with a free-turning sleeve, a 76 mm wobble extension, a 1/4-inch bit adaptor and 16 bits (Phillips, Pozidriv, Torx and hex). It suits a mechanic or keen DIYer who already owns basic sockets and wants one ratchet that reaches awkward bolts. If you mainly need deep sockets or SAE sizes, look at the imperial 8100 SB 9 or a bigger socket kit instead.

Worth knowing This is the standard version. The 8100 SB 7 is the push-through variant, and there are no deep sockets here.
