The EZ728-01 kit holds three kinds of EZ Lock wheels, for thin cuts, metal and plastic, plus the EZ Lock mandrel they twist onto. EZ Lock lets you swap a wheel without a screw or wrench, which matters with cut-off wheels because they wear down and get changed often. Everything sits in a case with a clear lid and a lift-out tray.
Dremel says it works with all of its corded and cordless rotary tools, and the 1/8-inch shank fits the standard collet. It suits someone cutting bolts, sheet metal, or plastic pipe and trim at home.
Worth knowing The wheels fit only an EZ Lock mandrel, which is included here. Wear eye protection: thin cut-off wheels can shatter.
