The PRW-3500T uses Casio's Triple Sensor Version 3 for altitude, air pressure and direction, with a thermometer, a 42-hour pressure graph and an alarm when pressure changes sharply. It charges from light and sets itself from Multi-Band 6 radio signals in the US, UK, Europe, Japan and China. Casio lists about seven months of running on a full charge with no light, and 200-meter water resistance.
The band is titanium with a three-fold clasp; the case is resin with a stainless steel rotating direction bezel. It suits someone who hikes, climbs or travels and wants the readings on the wrist without a phone. If you want GPS tracks, maps or phone notifications, a smartwatch does more, at the cost of charging every few days.
Worth knowing It is a large watch: 56.9 by 53.4 mm and 14.8 mm thick. Only the band is titanium, not the case, and the glass is mineral.
